And she was on the London Streets, starting her new journey in a foreign country.

Two days in London,

i would really have to say that having friends with me here is a blessing.:) I am thankful for a group of pals who sent me off, plan gatherings for me. Especially Oran utan Weiling for her handmade sandwiches, it kept me from being starved to death on the first night without dinner.

Staying in a place around somewhere called Oval.

Said to be a dodgey area, but everything is still fine here. We are still in a mad search for our new nest. For the 4 of us, Song, Charissa, Claire and myself. Spent these 2 days shopping, walking around and viewing houses, the walk around London is amazing, just find the weather alittle too cold for me. No wonder London-ers don't like to go out during these period after 6.

Oh, the weather here is amazingly cold. Was initially pretty nice air con temperature, but day 2 turned cold, and i found myself pretty underpacked for thicker clothings.. But its alright, PRIMARK will save the day with its less than 10 pounds clothings and shoes:)

Food Food Food.

SAINBURY'S and TESCO will save us from the daily meals cost, giving us cheap food for homecooking. And yes, you are correct, lazy me has been eating sandwiches for breakfasts and lunches, but don't worry, i m not sick of it yet.:)

BUSY ME BUSY YOU.忙。忙。忙！

My friends around me have all gotten jobs! at the same time when I feel happy for them, I realise that I am so free that I start to get lonely already.. ah!好寂寞啊。though its only a month plus.. but I be flying soon.. so I guess my free days are over soon.. time to get busy soon! London, Museums, bookstores, here I come! :)

NEW TOY. 新玩具。

WOO~ Recently, I felt like a spoilt child, having the chance to travel to London, no need to work, and best of all.. with the "financial assistance" of my dad, I got a new toy, ipod touch 4G.

Like a "Mountain Tortoise", I explore the gadget like a noob, "WOW-ing" at everything on it.

I found some really funny and useful apps like..

1. SPEND LITE - as a daily financial planner- to prevent overspending in London.

2. OFF MAPS - to allow me to read maps in London offline so to prevent me from getting lost.

3. MY FITNESS PAL - Counts calories for me so i won't overeat in London and become a fatty.

4. TRANSLATOR - Translate everything you want with over 100 international language! with voice over tooo! amazing.

5. Genius SCAN - Scans all your receipts and everything and convert them to text!

6. WORLD CLOCK - Prevent me from sleeping through my morning classes when its 10pm in Singapore.

hehe.. AND it has a camera too~ So.. i took the moon, just to see the resolution. NOT BAD at all, for the small toy.

Okies, enough spending this year, time to save up. thats all for my shopping list this year. :)
